Ed Tech
This image represents things that are important to me. I used Photoshop for this image, because I am somewhat familiar with the program and wanted a purely photographic image.I used it to mask images, create the background and make little "thought bubbles".
The backround image is one of the hilltop where I walk nightly here in San Diego with my two doggies. I love this place, and am grateful l I live in such a beautiful place. I can see downtown San Diego, and the ocean from the hilltop on a clear day.
I included small images of things that are important to me. Two of the most important are the two fantastic men in my life; my son who is in the military, and my wonderful partner Gary.
My two doggies, Elimi and Baxter are also really a big part of our lives.
In the bottom right corner are a couple of images of recent trips I've been on; to the desert and to Tanzania and Zanzibar. We backpack when we travel and spend a lot of time in places. I like taking the time to meet the locals and always seem to meet local kids when I travel.
In the upper right corner I put photos of me with some of my former students. I used to take my students hiking in the mountains and desert. One of the fun things that happened at the end of the year was prom. The students would transform into adults for a second, and then be back to kids again on Monday!
This is the stuff that makes my life fun and worthwhile. I love it!
