Thoughts on Education
I believe education is a lifelong process that starts when we are born and ends when we die.
The student also teaches; and in our roles as teachers and students we must be open to learning the lessons as they are presented and take the opportunities as they come up. Learning is a wondrous part of being human.
Formal education often motivates a loss of the sense of wonder. What was once exciting has become a test item, and what used to inspire passion, now inspires boredom. Trying to inspire students that are passionate about learning is all I can truly hope for in my role as teacher.
